“Sometimes it feels like I’m juggling two full time roles, educator and mom, and trying not to drop either.”

Since I wrote my first post back in September, life has shifted in many beautiful and unexpected ways. One of the biggest changes has been motherhood, not just becoming a mom, but continuing to be a passionate teacher and leader at the same time.

People often ask, “How do you do it all?” I do not have a secret formula. I focus on what matters most. I have always lived a structured life, and having consistent routines at home helps me stay grounded. Even with a child, the rhythms of my day remain familiar. Planning, working, and caring for my family all have their place. That stability means motherhood did not change my life as much as it enhanced it.

A key priority for me is the time I spend with my son after work. While I could lament having to leave him for my job, I choose instead to use every moment we have wisely, knowing that maintaining a career benefits both of us. When I walk through the door, I put away the stress of the day and show up fully for him, playing, reading, laughing, and simply being present.

Balancing both roles is not always easy, but with routines, support, and intentional presence, I am learning not just to survive, but to thrive. 💛
